  • I find that I think about my weight all the time. Does anyone else do this, or is it just me?

  • Nope, it is not just you. I think about food and what effect it will have on my weight most of the time
  • Constantly, it factors in to many of my daily decisions, so I'm always very aware of it.
  • Yup, I do! It doesn't bother me as much anymore though because I know I am doing something about it with better decisions and whatnot. I was 240lbs, thinking about it 24/7 and not doing something about it... I am never going back there again.
  • Yep, and my DH, who is the most supportive husband in the world, will even be like"stop obsessing!" :-)
  • Yes, it consumed me for many years. I don't ever want to gain again.
  • Right now, my boyfriend and I are sitting on the couch watching a movie, and I'm posting on 3FC with my phone. I think that answers your question!
  • NON-STOP! Sometimes I feel it's exhausting...constantly thinking about the number on the scale and also constantly thinking about food..what I ate, what I am going to eat today, what I am going to eat tomorrow...

I literally can't even leave the house for a few hours to run errands without planning to bring snacks. I get low blood sugar if I don't eat every 2 hours or so, so I am constantly packing snacks and water bottles even just for a trip to Home Depot!!
  • Constantly. Particularly now, 5 or so weeks into a plateau. I agree with Lindsayanne716- it IS exhausting.

But I'd rather be obsessing about healthy food and exercise and losing weight than obsessing about being fat and unhealthy. Granted, I have some OCD tendencies, so I'm pretty good at obsessing anyway
  • Yes. When I stopped, I started gaining. It's a trade-off to stay in maintenance.

    .........
Another one here!... Am constantly totting up my calories to see what I can have and what I can't! Pity something doesn't happen tho' as no matter what..nothing seems to get the pounds to go!
  • Since I've joined and got serious about losing weight, I check in on 3FC all the time and write down all the foods I eat.
  • Every second of the day.. It's a good thing, keeps me from making huge food mistakes on really bad days By thinking about it all the time, my occasional bad choices are then and there, and I'm back on the wagon by the next meal instead of feeling bad and then letting it go until the next day /next monday/so on before I get back on track.
  • Yes. And I'm at a point, that for myself, it's getting unhealthy. I'm taking some steps to fix that.
  • I think about my weight all the time. When I was at my heaviest, the only break I had from thinking about my current weight was fantasizing about my life once I'd lost the weight.

Now that I'm losing, I just keep thinking about those next 10 pounds.

It is exhausting but it's keeping me on track so...
