Women that build muscle easily

  • Are there any other 300+ women out there that build muscle easily?

    I used to work out a lot in my early 20's before I herniated 2 discs. Then I gained 130 lbs from it.

    But I honestly think that I gain muscle like a man does. I bulk up and my neck got thicker, but I LOVE to lift weights and want muscle tone and not just to become skinny and frail.

    Everyone, like personal trainers, swear that doesn't happen to women. Well I promise that I am one and it does happen to me even if I use lighter weights and do more reps.

    So I wondered if any other big women gained muscle as easily as I do? I'm holding off on doing any weight training until I get to at least my halfway point of 60 something pounds because I don't want to bulk up and stay big looking.

  • Not 300+, but yes, me. I'm not sure if I bulk like men, but I can get some pretty good biceps, etc. etc.

    I am doing strength training currently and I don't care. Currently I seem to be losing inches and some weight, too. I am NOT exercising to lose weight however, I am exercising to get fit. I am trying to play rugby, I am training to coach rugby and eventually I think I'd like to referee. So I need to be fit and strong. I'm not doing a lot of lifting, but I am doing some and lots of body weight work. Yes, I'm getting more muscular, but I'm happy about it.
