Hi Ladies
Boy I am mad I had started a new thread. Was almost finish with it. And I hit the wrong button and it all disappeared. So dont know where it is.
Not much happening here. Kinda chilly. Sun is trying to shine. But I thought I would start the thread this morn. The boards seem to be slow lately. I guess everyone is busy. With spring here. Everyone spring cleaning and getting outside and enjoying the weather. Waiting for it to warm up a little. Then we are going to put the camper up. Gonna clean it out. Then we will have to put it down tomorrow. Suppose to rain Mon. here. We are going to sell our camper. We are really going to miss it. We enjoy camping alot. Oh well.

FLGAL How are you doing so far this weekend. I am sure you will have a loss next week. Keep up the good work.

Well, I'm back. Thanks for all the good wishes, and you know they are sent right back to you.

It is sorta cool here this AM. Was going to work in the yard a little, went outside and desided to come back in and have another cup of coffee...and then my motivation stopped. So I have really done nothing!

But I need to get busy...so will say Bye for now. Have a good weekend, everyone!

Yeah, the threads are slow these days. But, I think it does help me to get on here often, keeps me thinking that I need to stay OP. I forgot to tell that I was voted "Miss Inspiration" yesterday at our chapter meeting. When weight reports come out at the first meeting of the month and awards are given out, we vote for the person that has inspired us the most and I was it. Surprised me. I haven't been voted that since I first joined and was losing a lot. I guess staying in the black for 13 weeks paid off.

I wish you girls would send some of that cool weather back down here. It is getting HOT here. About 90 degrees on our back porch. We will probably have to turn on the air conditioner before the day is over.

I'm really trying to stay OP over the weekend. I still want to get more weight off.

Wanda, keep letting us know how you are doing. We're hoping you get back to KOPS, too.

Coco, I'm thinking of you this weekend. I haven't seen the Walking Fit magazine, but I did read the new WW magazine at the DR.s office the other day. Someone wrote an article for it and compared portion sizes to objects. Like 'A medium baked potato is the about the size of a computer mouse, a slice of bread is about the size of a 3.5' floppy disc., and 1.5 ounces of cheese is the size of a 9volt battery. A 5 inch serving of banana is about as long as a cell phone, a serving of cornbread is about the size of a cake of soap. It was interesting, and I used it as a program for TOPS, yesterday.

I also got the new WW magazine. But havent got to read it yet. Did look through the Walking Fit magazine today. Seems to be some good things in it. Well we are to go out and eat tomorrow. Not real sure how to handle this. This is the menu.
Ham, scalloped potatoes, cole slaw, rigitoni, green beans, roll, cake and tea or coffee. I really want to stay on plan. So I was wondering should I eat something before I go. Then I wouldnt be tempted to eat as much. Or maybe just eat some green beans, roll and ham. Skip the rest. Any suggestions.
It warmed up a little today. The wind was pretty chilly. Got almost everything out of the camper. Just a few odds and ends. Swept it out. Now just to wipe up the floor.

Coco, it's very hard to be where everyone else is eating and you not eating, so if it was me, I would try to be very selective and eat with everyone else. Sometimes when I am in a place where I have to eat with everyone, I try to make up for it by eating very lightly at the other meals for day. Enjoy being with everyone today.
