I plan on starting my plan on December 15, and today, I decided to begin getting the three day hump associated with quitting smoking over with by the day I start my lifestyle change. I am SO terrified that it's physically impossible to not smoke and lose weight at the same time. However, when I smoke, I can't exercise as well because I get out of breath. I lost thirty pounds 2 years ago, started smoking and GAINED 50. I'm now the heaviest I've ever been in my life. I have a wedding to go to in August, so putting this off to quit smoking isn't really an option.
Has anyone successfully quit smoking and lost weight at the same time? Or am I in over my head?
