I am trying to up my protein intake, and I keep seeing people adding this to their food so I thought I would ask

I usually also add a tablespoon of Udo's and when I'm in cycle three I add two tablespoons of coconut oil, too. It doesn't taste grainy at all.
I'm sure people do, but it doesn't sound appetizing to me. Then again I've never wanted to blend my cottage cheese either! It should work ok, though. When I was eating yogurt (yellow carb), I tried adding protein powder to that. I'd add sugar free syrup to it and top with fruit. This tends to taste a little grainy, especially if you put much protein powder in.
I have vanilla, and it tastes pretty decent.

(well they didn't SAY McD's but that was the implication). It was to promote their 'new' real ice-cream milk shakes. (I don't even know if y'all HAVE Jack in the Box in PA!)
