NSV and...creeps

  • Ok so I went to the gym this morning and 2 things happened: one good and one...not so bueno.

Good news: I was doing Romanian deadlifts by a mirror and I looked over to check my posture. HOT DAMN do I have some nice legs! I'm not surprised they're the first thing to look good, I've had shapely legs since I was a little girl, but I had lost them to fat rolls about 20lbs ago and I'm glad to see them back. They still are cellulite-y naked, but shapely is a start.

Bad news: creepy guys on the bus are staring at me! I know I have new, brightly coloured hair and an interesting face and, while I'm still 8lbs into the 'obese' bmi category, I don't look it. I had a creepy guy come sit beside me and try to offer me a pen and tell me I should smile for him. I had to get off 2 stops before mine because I didn't want this creep to know where I lived!

Also, I can close my 32's! Still FAR too tight to wear anywhere, but it's a start!
  • Congratulations on your successes!

I feel your pain about the creepy guys though. I can only imagine how uncomfortable you must have felt! >< Some guys just don't understand not to approach us.
  • Congrats on the progress, Katbot!

Sorry about the creeper guy. Some people just don't read social cues well. Or at all. You can always look at it this way- since you got off the bus early, you got more exercise in!
  • congrats, Katbot...and sorry your fantastic legs are attracting creepers! :-)
  • I almost get offended when a creepy guy chats me up... it's like he must not think I'm hot enough to be a long-shot for him. Am I messed up???

Congrats on the NSV - I have no clue what a Romanian dead lift is but it sounds tough as ****.
