What is the Carb limit?

  • I am logging my daily intake on "FatSecret". I enjoy doing that, as it has all the IP products in their data and I can how many fat, carbs, etc are adding up. Now I am curious......does anyone know how many carbs, protein, etc per day that we should be staying under? I know that by staying OP we should not need to worry about it, but I still would like to know if there is an IP goal?

Between 30-40 net carbs/day is allowed. 'Net carbs" means that you can subtract gms of fiber from the carbs, and IP suggests you can also subtract 1/2 of any sugar alcohols that are in foods you consume. I also use "FatSecret"... it's very useful to look back and see that data.
