  • Welcome to the newest segment of 10 days in the life boat.

Remember this is not a "challenge" but a place for accountability to ourselves and support.

So what is your plan for this 10 day segment?

Grab an oar and join us doing our best to stay dry.
  • Well, the last 10 days could be improved upon so I'm going to try again to:
stay POP on WW and drink my fluids.
  • Daily cardio, 8 hrs sleep, one serving of veggies and one of fruit every day.
  • Exercise more than once per week - will try for twice in the 10 day period.

    Bek.
  • What I would change about this week:

Exercising EVERY day is important to me.
    ------
Opening the Refrigerator less on weekends and off days.

Planning meals days in advance (already cooked)

Knowing why I am doing this and who Im doing it for (myself)
  • Yesterday was smooth sailing!
Day one of leg 35 a success.
  • Got my sleep last night, did cardio salsa this evening and a little yoga, got my veggies in but not a fruit. But I had two servings of veggies, so I'll call today DRY.
  • yesterday and today have both been dry days for me. My goal for this segment is to finish strong on all my Oct goals. Hard to believe in another week I'll be setting Nov goals! Can't wait to do my end of the month measurements. Today in the locker room at the Y, standing in front of the mirror, I noticed I am definitely slimming down. Even though I do still carry most of my weight in my belly area, I'm not nearly as "apple" shaped as I used to be. Which is good because I have decided on a wedding dress and the belly has to go! It's very fitted in the body (mermaid/trumpet sillhouette) and flares out about the knee. It's gorgeous and giving me added motivation to work hard. I'd post a pic but I don't know how, lol.
  • Another dry day. That's 3 in a row for me.

Not a record by any means - but a good start.
  • @Vortex_VVV - Salsa cardio sounds as though it would be fun to try!
@laura - I'm glad to see that all the progress is going well! I know that it wont be long before you meet your goal!
@j-ann - 3 days in a row is awesome! consistency is what really brings in the lasting results.

    Yesterday Went well,

My eating was really good and I also did much exercise.
This was in part due to pre-planned meals, and properly pre-documenting what I had eaten.

Today, I am going to enjoy another dry day!
  • Jonah, I do enjoy the cardio salsa. I've got a pretty good lineup of DVDs I alternate.

Way to go to all those sitting high and dry.

I'm good today, though I know I need to set my goals higher. Today was "Dance It Off" for cardio. I'm skipping yoga, though: need to get to sleep.

Let's all stay in the boat together on Thursday.
  • Another day past and goals met.
