My smoothie to help with my blood pressure!!!

  • I just started drinking smoothies yesterday to see if they with the rest of my diet will lower my blood pressure.
    Here is what I put in it:

    small bit of spinach(10 leaves)
    2 celery stalks
    1/4 of a cucumber
    1/2 ounce of pumpkin seeds
    10 almonds
    1 tsp of ground flax
    Small piece of beet
    1/2 cup of water
    1/2 cup orange juice

    Would this be ok to have daily. Should I add something or take something out or a bit more of something.

  • This sounds like a very healthy smoothie. And I say if it helps you eat more veggies, then go for it!
