Just starting out..

  • Hello, my name is Brenda. I'm 23 years old and I have two beautiful 15 month old twins. I have just begun this process, though it's been on my cob-web infested To-Do list for years.. I have set up a walking buddy system and have a membership with the YMCA in my area.. I'd like to track my progress and share a little about myself with you all I'm 5'3, weighed today at 138, bmi is 24.9, body fat % is 30. The largest portion of my belly is 37 1/2 inches. I know by these numbers that I'm not "obese" but that does not mean I am in shape (as you can see by the pictures.. if I uploaded them correctly). I know that if I continue to neglect my body though, I will be. I've never stuck to exercise, never consistently eaten healthy/wise and I've always had extremely low self esteem leading into continual phases of depression. Now I am changing that with the help of God, my friends, myself and any other types of encouragement. Thank you so much for reading! Hoping to meet some nice people to share experiences with!
