Hello everyone. I just started IP a week ago. I lost 12 pounds in my first week which was rather shocking. I have never lost that much in one week. I am happy with losing a pound or two a week. I have 55 more pounds to lose. I thought it would be motivational if I asked everyone to post how much weight they have lost and how long it took them. I was also curious if people were exercising as I was told not to.

). I started exercising about 4-5 weeks back walking and doing a weight program dvd at home that keeps me energized. I like that i have hung on to my lean mass while losing fat mass only since starting it. Last week I started running again (training for a 1/2 marathon in November) and so far haven't seen any sequalae from working out.
I would if someone wanted to go for a walk but I didn't make it part of my plan (others have!) but I've ramped it up in maintenance and I'm enjoying exercise now
