My counselor advised me to get my bloodwork done to be able to compare it when I lose my weight.
I got it back yesterday.
Under the heart and kidney functions, the BUN/Creatinine Ratio was high at 28. I did a little research and that can be high if on a high protein diet (I was on day 9 when my blood was drawn).
My total cholesterol went from 198(Sept 2010) to 172!
My Vitamin D was a little low as was my blood sugar at 62.
My biggest concern is my TSH was 4.75.
Could this indicate hypothyroidism? Could this be why I only lost 5 pounds over 6 weeks on WW the beginning of the year?
Do you think I should call the doctor? Would I see the gp or go to my son's endocrinologist (he has type 1 diabetes and Hashimoto's)?
I'll probably call her today and see what she thinks.
I felt horrible yesterday for the first time on the program (11 days in).
Headachey and blassee(if that's a word).....if I hadn't known better I would have thought I had drank too much wine the night before.
Hopefully I'll feel better today!
Have a good day all!
Teresa
