Exercise week of 3/17

  • I slept too long this morning to ride my bike, but I did do my Oxycise tape. Then when I got to the health club for my "advanced" aerobic class i found the pool empty Seems like there was a leak overnight and they were working on it. The instructor who does the advanced class lead the session in the warm water pool and it was a great workout, the only thing is there were people from three different classed in the one pool and it was quite crowded. I bet there were 45 peolple in that one class.

    Tomorrow I go back to the beauty shop for a haircut and a color job, so I'll miss water aerobics, so maybe by Wednesday the pool will be fixed.
  • Yesterday (Monday) I did yoga for one hour at lunch. Today I am not sure if I can fit anything in, but I will take a 15 minute walk for sure (have to walk to the dr. office after work). Tomorrow I want to go to the gym for some cardio and Thursday lift weights and hopefully Friday more cardio.

    I went shopping yesterday and had an unpleasant experience looking in the dressing room mirror. Not that my body has ever been perfect but now I have definite cellulite on my upper thighs and it totally grossed me out. All this because I have slacked off on exercise in the last couple of months. I used to be so good about it. Have to get back in the saddle again!!
  • Back to it today. I'll get out for my walk today since I have someone to spell me off at the store. I can go after supper now, that the sun is setting much later. Im not one for going out after dark around here....too many "undesirables" around

    I had started lifting weights a few weeks ago, but got away from it. I think I'll start that back up this week.

  • I went to the gym 5 times last week. And I gardened on Saturday.

    My work-out week doesn't get started until Tuesday because of DH's work schedule. (But trust me, I do get a different type of workout on his days off. LOL) So tonight is back to the gym night for me. I can't wait til 5. I can't believe I look forward to going to the gym so much.
  • Wed. 3/19
    Yesterday ended up taking an extra .5 hour walk after my dr. appt.

    Today, did 35 mins. on the Precor at the gym.

  • The pool had water in it today!!! So I got in the advanced water aerobic. so this week so far it 3 days of Oxycise, 2 days of bike riding, and 2 days of warer aerobics.
  • Monday - walk 1.5 miles
    Tuesday - walk 1.0 mile
    Thursday - walk 1.0 mile
  • got my 45 min walk in today. Didnt do anything yesterday, it rained all day.

    Tomorrow, I start bellydancing classes
