Supplies You Cannot Live Without

  • I thought we might start a helpful hints type thread on collectively, what we've found we cannot live without. Kinda to help the Newbies out and maybe even the grizzled vets too! So, let's hear it.

Mine are, in no particular order:

Cooler & re-useable ice packs (I have 2, 1 for short trips and 1 larger one)
    George Forman Grill
    Pam Butter cooking spray
Ziplock portable containers (the new ones they have out - like Tupperware - only muy cheap)
    BFL Book
    Journal
    Good spices
2nd fridg (OK, so this is only my WISH )
3FC website and ALL OF YOU GUYS!

    Now, it's your turn!

  • Pretty well everything you mentioned, Niffer, plus...

Blender (to get rid of f/f cottage cheese lumps)
A couple hours on Sunday to prepare meal packs...cook once, eat twenty times...
The recipe thread here and at L&S

  • Great Idea For A Thread!
All of the above, plus …

*Basement freezer (I am so lucky to have it!)
*Microwave (to thaw all the goodies from said freezer)
    *Blender — for protein shakes
    *Rice cooker
*Polder food scale (I weigh and label individual portions before freezing and still weigh and measure what I eat) (I don’t do BFL)
*Fitday.com (for tracking food and adding up calories and grams of protein, carbs, and fat)
    *Non-stick skillets

    Non-food related supplies:
*MP3 player (just can’t do cardio without music!)
*My very own pad for the squat bar and lifting straps!
*(Dare I say my scale and tape measure???)

    Next?

  • Awesome idea!
Personally I cannot live without alot of items....but lets see if I can narrow it down to a few things:

Microwave to heat up all of my food that I cook on Sunday and eat throughout the week

My weight bench and weights at home and my gym membership

My headphones otherwise cardio would be boring!

Reynolds wrap so i can cook all of my fish in the oven with it!

Protein powder (Yummy Grow!) so I can have some chocolate flavoring without the chocolate.

My weight lifting gloves to protect my cracked winter hands right now.

This forum. All the ladies here are wonderful!

I hope your basement freezer isn't like Lucy Ricardo's! (Remember that episode of I Love Lucy where she gets locked in the freezer with two sides of beef...one of my favorites!)
