  • i am so thrilled today, it has been one week since i last weighed myself, and it is only my first week with my new lifestyle, and i am down 9 pounds! i have been working so hard, but i still cant believe i lost that much in a week!

this gives me so much motivation to keep on doing better. i want to run in circles and squeal like a little kid.

i know that might seem extreme, but hey, ive only seen the numbers go up for years now

now im going to take a victory lap! lol
  • Yay, seeing a loss like that only motivates you and will propel you through this next week. Awesome job.
  • Well done!!!! It is fabulous to see your hardwork pay off like that

Not silly to want to celebrate at all, I still love seeing a good drop on the scales now, even though fitness has become my main motivator.

Keep up the great work, and the scales will continue to show it (just not always that quickly!)
  • Cogratulations !
  • wtg!!!! this is only the start of a really good thing - keep it up and it just gets better from here!
  • Woop - superb loss and well done! I hope you DID run around in circles and scream - victories deserve to be celebrated and I've done some mad jigs around the place more than once in the last year.

Here's to lots more celebrations for you!
  • Great job - you're on your way!~!
  • Samcakes

You are well on your way!
    Congrats!
  • i have been eating pretty healthy, no more than 1800 calories per day. a smoothie with fruit and fat free yougurt in the mornings, a reasonable lunch, and a small dinner. if i get hungry between meals i eat a banana or have another small smoothie, (they are really low in calories, and get rid of my sweet tooth) i wont eat past 7:30 pm, and i have been walking 3 miles per day. trying to be aggressive about it, because i know if i dont absolutely force myself, i wont do it at all
  • Well done
  • Well done! What an excellent start. Remember this feeling and how much you want it again next week.

I find that works for me - I really get to hate the disappointed feeling when I don't lose and LOVE LOVE LOVE the feeling of a good loss.

    Keep it up.
  • Wow!! Great job!
