Snow Crab legs..

  • I want to eat crab legs for dinner but I'm having a hard time finding calories and serving size information for snow crab legs. Can someone help me?
  • The my fitness pal app says 3 legs for 130 calories...but that's just a general. Red Lobster 1lb is 180
  • But Hooters says 1lb for 300 calories...
  • One source says it's ~31.5 calories per ounce.
  • Hooters may sauté theirs in butter, which would bring up the calories!
  • LiveStrong

"There are 130 calories in crab meat from one Alaskan king crab leg, which is 134 g of crab meat. Of these 130 calories, 111 come from protein, 18.6 from fats and 0.6 from carbohydrates."
  • Snow Crab legs 1 lb (in shell) = 160 calories.

One of my fave meals. A lb of crab legs, a tbsp of butter, whatever veggie and I'm one happy camper.
  • Here's where I get confused: Is one "crab leg" just a single digit? Or is it the entire 5-fingered 'hand'? Geez, I can't even phrase the question in a way that makes sense! :shrug
  • That's why I just stick with the weight. Hard to do at restaurants I know, but the last time I bought snow crab legs at the store, 2 of the "hands" were 1lb almost exactly.
  • Wow! I haven't had snow crab legs in forever! Nice to know they're Somalia in calories. If I ever get dragged to a buffet I know exactly what to pig out on.
