First Weigh In!

  • Today was my first weigh in since my initial weigh in @ my joining meeting on February 6th...I was down.................... 7lbs!! I was so happy and it definitely gave me the boost I needed to say "hey, I must be doing something right." I understand a lot of it was probably water weight but it made me feel great. I have given up pop except for diet which I allow myself to have ONE a day, and that in itself is a big accomplishment because I was drinking upwards to 3-4 pops a day!! Haven't had any cravings for it yet.

    Alan and I went out to eat tonight because we'd gotten side tracked at the mall walking around. I didn't make the best of choices but I know that will get easier as I become more knowledgeable about eating out choices etc. My plan is to sit down tomorrow and plan the week out like I did last week as it works best for me.

  • Great job! I'm like you, I allow myself to have soda, but it's only about once a week on Saturdays when I'm lagging at work. Keep up the awesome work!
  • Sweet! awesome job chick! I never really drank soda, but when i want something i drink Coke Zero... it doesnt taste like a diet soda to me, or Diet gingerale. Instead of buying cans, i buy the 2L bottles, so i can drink a smaller amount, and i buy those "stubby" cans for my lunch box so i dont have to drink a whole can.
