  • Happy Valentine's Day

No roses or kisses here today although lots of tail wagging. Maybe I can round up a human lover before the day is over.

Lots of "stuff" to get done today although I got a very good whack at the tax forms for the Mill staff yesterday. Two more and I'm done! I would have been able to finish the job but Donna and I ended up going out for breakfast after gym yesterday. The children at the elementary school serve breakfast to the Seniors once a year as a thank-you for support. The teachers and older kids cook and the small ones serve and wait on us at very pretty tables. It was quite delightful.

Time to make a list and tackle Tuesday. I hope your day has some hugs and smiles and even tail wags.
  • Good Morning

I'm in workprep mode...heading outside with the pup. His little tail tries to wag. Smoothie on my horizon.

    Have a great day everyone!
  • good morning Ruth! very nice breakfast you must have had yesterday. I did get tail wags and licks this morning from Eddie (the one who is afraid of the drum set ) and a couple nice cards, a new belly button ring, and necklace from DH. No chocolates, thank goodness!! very glad he respected that request from me.

I tried putting the sugar-free Lemon jello powder into my quart of plain non-fat yogurt, it is delicious!!

Hope everyone has a great day and Happy Valentine's Day to all.
  • Happy Valentine's Day!

Ruth, your breakfast outing sounded delightful, and I bet the kids enjoyed it as much as you did.

Cyndi, I hope Julie got settled in well and that her procedure went smoothly.

Sooooo glad to have a fresh new day, as yesterday was the pits. I'm just hoping that everyone is in a much better mood today.

  • HAPPY VALENTINES DAY!!!!

I've made 3 lunches, prepped the mexican chicken casserole for the crock pot, cleaned the kitchen, taken care of the animals, made my smoothie...now it's off for a quick swim before work. And my DD's class has a play/special thingee today for the parents!!

Gotta run! (or rather, gotta swim!)
  • Happy Valentine's Day everyone! I told my husband I didn't want any chocolates, and he didn't want any either, so we all went out together last night instead. Then when I went grocery shopping I saw a dark chocolate bar w/ chili pepper so I bought it for him to give to me. Since I am now on phase 2.

Cottage, sorry you had such a bad day yesterday!

Our trip went well; I had a planned cheat (something luxurious I can't get at home, so I was ok with that). It was delicious. Also our refrigerator broke in the hotel so my prepared foods were ruined. I had to be a little more flexible, but it was fine. I feel good about it. I lost about 7.5 pounds on P1.

My sister decided she's going to do SB too. I'm excited to have someone to share recipes (and leftovers) with! It'll be nice to have some in-town support; I hope she likes it as much as I have.
  • Happy Valentine's Day to you all, with much thanks for sharing part of yourselves and your lives with me

I thought my interview went well until I got home and spent the rest of the day thinking to myself, "I wish I hadn't have said that. And that. Or that." I had a case of nervous diarrhea of the mouth. The manager had to rush to a conference call as I was leaving and said something about hearing from her today. I hope so! Don't tell HER but patience is not my strong suit.

DH and I gave up on VD gifts years ago but decided we'd go out to lunch today. Since he's on his weird sort of vegan plan and I wanted to stay OP too, we had to work hard to find a place we'd both like. We are going to try one where you can make up any kind of salad you want. Here's the site, if anyone is curious.

I'm off to yoga soon. Then just waiting by the phone!!!
  • Happy Valentine's Day!

I am back from conference just crazy busy as usual, I did not too bad food wise only a couple of slip ups. Lost 3 more lbs so I was very excited about that, we did do a ton of walking since we went to Disney for 3 days.

I will have to go back and read all the posts that I missed.

We leave Friday to go visit my parents down in Gulfport, MS for the weekend, dread the 11 hour drive but looking forward to seeing my folks.

    Have a great day everyone.
  • Happy vals days guys. I must confess, I sent DH some edible arrangements ( dark choc covered strawberries and green apple slices) at work and will be having 1 of each when he comes home...lol. Hey, is vals day!!!!
