On a double mission...

    Stumbled on this group while Googling the Pink Method. Didn't go that route, but now I'm here because I need to lose 10 lbs to be back in my healthy weight range, PLUS my husband has been diagnosed pre-hypertensive, and can stand do lose quite a bit himself. I'm not the nagging type - I don't believe it works! So I want to adopt healthy habits at home and also to lead by example.

    Was thinking about going about this the old fashioned way: better eating choices and exercise. But would love to hear from others what they've found most effective.

    Read lots. Find a couple threads where you feel comfortable and make yourself at home.
  • Fireside, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering around specific diet plans, themes, or age groups, so find one that inspires you and just post to join! Be sure to check out the Dieting with Obstacles sub forum
