high protein, wheat-free pasta

  • sorry for the delay, L144... i didn't forget you! the stuff i found is Papadini, and it's made from lentil flour. i bought it at Whole Foods. a nice store, but expensive. it tastes a bit different than regular pasta, but it's a nice change.

    i like the orzo the best. i've also tried the corkscrewy elbow thingies. not as good as the orzo. an odd texture. but it still tasted great with some sauce a friend made!

  • Hi Jiff! This stuff looks wonderful!! I don't know if it's available up here but I'll definitely keep an eye out for it. There's not much out there that's high protein but low(er) fat. I'm trying to be a little more careful since my gall bladder turned traitor. And, I just wanted to say hi. Hi.
