Daily Motivation - Featherweight Style

  • Because it's that much harder to motivate as a featherweight.
    Thought it might be useful to have a daily check-in thread for motivation, rather than just the numbers on the scale. Let's remember the WHY, instead of just the HOW or WHAT.


    Today I will stick to my plan so that...

    1/1 - I can stop wondering if weight is the reason (fill in blank)
    1/2 - I'm not controlled by food thoughts.
    1/3 - I can make my goal way before October.
    1/4 - My self-control will be stronger than the cravings.
    1/5 - I am more motivated to make other changes in my life.
    1/6 - My thighs will swim in my jeans.

  • I will stick to the plan because I don't like the alternative...because I want to be healthy...because I want to feel good about myself.
  • I will stick to plan so I can grow fitter and stronger (and hotter!)
    I will stick to plan so that all my hard work - exercise, good nutrition and body shape - will have been worth it. I can't imagine anything worse than taking a backward slide to where I started. That's the thing that keeps me going, after all the hard slog, I don't want to throw it all away.

  • Love this Alexis - I am struggling so hard the past few weeks to stay motivated.

    I want to run half a marathon before 2012 is up
    I want to feel in control of what I put in my mouth and why I put it there
    Looking slim and athletic this summer for the first time ever
  • 3/12 - So I can be proud of my body and the choices that got me there.
    3/11 - So I have proof of my discipline.
    3/10 - Living well (and looking good) is the best revenge...
    3/9 - So I can give myself the best birthday present ever.

    I will stick to plan becasue I don't want to dress with what fits me that day, but with what I feel like wearing.
