    I am so excited to meet new people to help motivate me to lose weight! I currently weight 336 pounds and I just joined the gym(I'm nervous/scared!) and am looking for a diet that I can stick with (I'm somewhat of a picky eater). I can't wait to meet you all, if anyone needs anything, I'm here for you too!


  • Welcome to 3FC! I'm Kellie, also a newbie (I joined earlier this evening). I was TERRIFIED when I first joined my gym, because I kept telling myself over and over, I was going to be the ONE person (despite HOW MANY people were there) that everyone was going to stare at, whisper about, etc. I promiseeee it's not that scary!! I've been going for a year now, and have lost 21lbs!! You so got this!! Congratulations on deciding to take this journey, and best of luck to you! Can't wait to swap success stories!

  • Chubbygirl, welcome, glad to have you join us. I suggest you look for a Challenge or Support group to join; small check-in groups make it easier to connect, get involved, and be accountable. We have groups centering arouns specific diets, themes, or age groups, find one that inspires you and just post to join!
  • Chubbygirl - don't worry about the gym. I've never been to one (I have a treadmill I'm using once I get done here), but the thing I learned from loosing 74 lbs. so far is that you build confidence with every pound lost. So get out there, loose the weight, never give up, and your confidence will soar. Good luck!
