Food Logs for week of Feb 10/03

  • Monday......I didnt eat enough!!

    1/3 cup egg salad
    Taco salad and 2 oz cheese

    Tuesday

    Breaky, 1/3 cup egg salad

    Lunch, broccoslaw w/bacon bits and steak

    Supper, unfried fried chicken lol, its really good! Going to add a few more carbs to my diet. Im going to try breading the chicken, and see if it affects me. wish me luck. and with the chicken, either ceasar salad, or broccoli.

  • PMSing and feeling depressed about body
    Hey everyone,

    Robin, congrats in getting to 199!! I am despairing of losing anymore weight. The scale is going between 148 and 150 and I just can't seem to budge. I have been working out more and I am PMSing, so that could have something to do with it, but I am not losing inches either . I feel stranded.

    Of course, you may ask, how has my eating been? Not great, I will tell you. I seem to be allowing myself to have carbs at one meal per day. Maybe that is hanging me up - I don't know. Here is what I ate yesterday:

    Breakfast:
    pork rinds with egg salad

    Snack:
    Tom Yum thai soup

    Lunch:
    pork chop with saurkraut and sour cream, broccoli and one green pepper

    Dinner: grilled cheese with tomato and a diet coke.

    Snack: 2 pcs. pepperoni with cheese on top


    Today:
    On awakening: 2 pcs. pepperoni with cheese on top

    Breakfast:
    pork rinds with egg salad

    Lunch:
    I'm going out so I don't know, probably will be a carb meal

    Snack:
    broccoli and a green pepper

    Dinner:
    Unknown

    I've been exercising every day, either weight lifting or elliptical trainer, or a 45 minute walk (walking days are my slow/recovery days). I feel I should be losing something, either inches or pounds.
  • I am PMSing too, have been since last week. I am staying away from the scale until it is over. I don't think I could handle the disappointment. Here are my menus for yesterday and today:

    Breakfast
    2 sausage patties
    1 blueberry muffin ( Atkins)
    TBP cream cheese
    coffee with cream & Sweet & Low
    I threw out about a third of the muffin w. CC cause I was full

    Lunch
    Grilled Pork Chop w/ bell peppers
    salad greens with vinagrette

    Dinner
    Carne Asada, cheese, salsa sour cream in LC tortillas Very Good!!!
    took a few bites of DH's chorizo & eggs
    peach ice tea with liquid sweetner
    Snack
    Lemon Poppy Muffin w/butter

    Today:
    Breakfast:
    1 mini-cheesecake 1.85 carbs
    3 sausage links
    coffee with cream & French Vanilla DaVinci Syrup

    Lunch
    Applebees Steakhouse Salad - YUM!!!

    I am really trying not to frustrated with losing so slow. My friends who are going Atkins with me have lost a conderable amount of weight compared to me. I am so happy for them and frustrated at myself too. My positive outlook for today: I did not get this way over night nor will it go away over night. 2.5 pounds a month is 30 pounds a year.

    Isn't it funny how many of us have PMS and TOM at the same time? They say women who are close friends have cycles that mimic each other Ya'll stay away from me! If it's contagious I wouldn't wish it on my worst enemy!

    we are not even going to go there--I probably would not remember half of it anyway!!

    Today--Tuesday
    Breakfast--2 eggs--2 small sausage patties

    Lunch Cooked cabbage and 1/2 cup ground beef, sourcream and swiss cheese melted.(sounds like I am preggy and not pms'ing)

    snack--2 tablespoons peanut butter

    supper-
    salad/ ranch dressing-1/2 cup ground beef, mozzerella cheese and cottage cheese

    I am drinking water--but also had 2 diet pepsi's today.

  • What a BLAH day....atleast I got to work at home today. I did not get my usual walk in yesterday but did play a little Bball with DD...she didn't know her old Mom had it in her! It was quite fun if I do say so.

    Last night dinner
    3 hot wings w/blue cheese dressing
    1 carne asada soft taco w/sour cream
    some of hubby's chorizo & egg
    sound like a repeat!

    Dessert:
    Mini Cheesecake w/ blueberry sauce

    Breakfast:

    2 scambled eggs in butter w/TBL picante sauce
    3 sausage links
    2 sm cups coffee w/cream french vanilla SF syurp

    Lunch
    6 hot wings w/blue cheese dressing
    salad greens w/ italian ceasar dressing

    Snack:
    Mini Cheesecake w/blueberry sauce

    Dinner - I am trying recipe for oriental chicken that I found on the lowcarbfriends site. If it turns out good I will post it.

    Doesn't look like I am going to get my walk today either, it is rainy. Maybe if it stops I can play another game of BBall ..
