I just wrote a blog post about this, but I thought it would be interesting to hear what everybody had to say on the topic. At Gold's Gym, they have this theme of talking about things you're "stronger than." I walked past a t-shirt on display that said "Stronger Than Ordinary" on the back and it really got me thinking. What am I stronger than? Here's a couple I came up with:
-Stronger than Obesity: I fought hard and won and am so proud of every part of that fight.
-Stronger than the Status Quo: I've realized that even if things are fine the way they are, I can still work to make tomorrow even better. Whatever goal I have I can achieve if I'm willing to work for it.
-Stronger than Excuses: There are a million reasons why I can, why it's too hard, why I'll do it tomorrow. And I've stopped letting myself use those things as reasons for anything I do.
What are YOU stronger than?
