Another one of those robotic exercise commercials prompted me to ask you guys: do these machines really work?

I tried it once but didn't give it much of a chance.

Anyone else tried it?

What do you mean? Like the Orbitrek?

I don't know what that is. We have these "toning" places. You sit on a machine and can't do much but add resistance. The machine moves you around - your leg or your arms etc.

Only times I've used those is for rehab therapy - because I simply couldn't overcome the pain from an injury to move the muscle myself. Other than that I have no idea if they are good on a regular basis.

Angi.. I did those once with my sister.

Personally, I found them to be a joke.
