Ready to make a change! And to kick my butt!

  • Hello everyone!

    This is my first post on this forum. I wanted to introduce myself and tell you guys a little about myself.

    My name is Maggie. I joined this forum to gain motivation and support, and to give it out as well. I have a goal to lose about 95 pounds in the next 12 months. I plan to start with Jillian Michael's 30 day shred...tomorrow! I'll be supplementing that with kickboxing workouts and a low carb diet.

    I just recently moved out on my own and what better time to reinvent myself? I used to be athletic...I want to get back to those days.

    You sound a lot like me. I started out at 225 on July 25th with a goal to lose 85 pounds within a year. I started a blog with my sister that's really helped keep me on track.

    I hear that Jillian's workout really produces results. Don't kill yourself at the beginning though.
