  • Hi ladies!

    New monday, new update! https://docs.google.com/spreadsheet/...hl=en_US#gid=0

We're just a few to update our data by now... oh well. Might aswell finish the spreadsheet for the few who does.

We have one more week to the challenge. Let's keep tracking

    ---

I'm 2.4 pounds down and I'm happy. It feels good to finally break my 7 weeks plateau

My challenge for this week : I want to run at least 4 times

    ---
  • I am not going to hit my goal because my weight fluctuated heavily the last two weeks .... but I am back to what I was 2 weeks ago and I'm counting that as a win lol.
  • I gained after a splurging weekend. I am at 199.2 lbs. I commit to working hard this week to lose at least some water weight in order to get closer to the goal....
  • I hit my goal then gained 1.0/1.6, so ended up back under my goal, lost 8.4 this week so back over my goal again. Sheesh!

My goal was if I hit 50 lbs total lost I would sign up for the walk 2 run running group/class thingy at the running store (they have have folks do a 5k they sponsor at the end of it), which I did. But now that it's only a week away, I'm getting really nervous. It's weird, I'm normally not self conscious at the gym - even when I was at my highest weight - because it feels like such a comfortable and diverse environment. But I'm worried when I go to this thing at the running store it will be me and all these like rail thin people and I'll just be so big and slow in comparison.

Just have to keep telling myself DONT CHICKEN OUT.
  • Quote: I am not going to hit my goal because my weight fluctuated heavily the last two weeks .... but I am back to what I was 2 weeks ago and I'm counting that as a win lol.
Me neither don't worry. I think I overestimated what my weight loss would be during my vacations LOL
  • Somni! What a loss! Congrats!!

And don't stress out to your walk to run group I tried one of these and the people are really nice usually
  • Hurray! Week 8 went gr-eight! ... -_- Sorry. Can't help myself.

I was rockin' the plan. Family was visiting and I'm gonna pat myself on the back here, because I exercised every day, and before they came I chose TWO times that I would indulge and I stuck to my plans!

Successful week. I also was able to bust into the 280's. I would kinda, sorta like to lose another 1.6 pounds next week to see 40 pounds gone since restarting in April... but, as usual, I'm just happy to be moving more, eating healthier, etc and all that good stuff.

Let's make the last week SUPER bangin'
  • great loss Lovely! Must be so happy to be in the 280's! It's always so thrilling to change of 10's!
  • lol im not getting my goal, cos i just didnt try lol

    .4 gain
  • Just a few people are actually getting at their goals. It wasn't a great success for the rest of us lol.
  • Not everyone may be getting to their chosen weight goal, but in the long run I don't think it matters.

What does matter... is that we're still here. Everyone here posting and sharing is still eating healthier, still moving more, and still in the game.

I'm gonna give out a big ol' "Who cares?" to not reaching a goal within a time frame and not flippantly, mind you all. Not at all flippantly.

More like, how about what you DID achieve? And how we have the rest of this week to do positive, healthy things.

AND! We're starting up a brand spankin' new two month challenge next Monday when this one closes, so we have even MORE goals to make and to work towards

Chin up! I think everyone still here is a success in the most sincere and truest way possible!

Not being here. Not making those steps forward. Even baby steps. What's the alternative? Not anywhere I'd like to be...
  • I've lost some some water weight from the last weekend. I am now 2 lbs away from my goal. I don't think I will reach 10 lbs lost by Labor Day. BUT, I am very proud of myself because 8 lbs in the right direction is better than gaining 8 lbs and my workouts have become more consistent.

What's even better is that I feel great, full of energy and motivation to continue on my weight loss journey. In 2009, I gained over 75lbs while being pregnant with my son. He just turned 2 on Sunday and I remember thinking I was going to lose most of my weight before his 1st birthday. How wrong was I???!!!

But I am still here, the weight loss has been sloooooowww, but I am determined more than ever to regain my pre-pregnancy body before trying for another baby.

Well, this turned out to be a long post ))

    Keep the challenges coming!!
  • Are we doing one more weigh in for this or was this last one it? And we are starting a new one yes?
  • One last one on Monday, September 5th for Labor Day. That's the final day/week of this challenge.

And yes. We're starting a new challenge the same day. (It'll kind of cross over.) I'll be posting it Sunday night/Monday morning.
  • I beat my challenge, was shooting for 10 and lost over 20!!!

I am around 2 pounds from onederland!!
