Has anyone tried substituting the oil in the flax bread for apple sauce. Normally the recipe has 160 kcal with 0.6 carbs, so many treat it as a restricted because of the calorie count. If I replace the oil for unsweetened applesauce, the calorie count goes to 115 with 5 carbs - meaning I could have that and some egg whites for breakfast. Has anyone tried substituting the applesauce - how did it work/taste for you?
