Being sensible helps me

  • I know I don't post here often but I do read a lot of posts and am pleased I'm here. Anyway, just wanted to post that sticking to my meal plan like glue has helped me tremendously. Seriously, I don't snack on anything else, even if I'm at a fair, a party, etc.

Also, I rarely eat sugar anymore. It used to be my biggest weakness. It still calls, but once I stopped, I felt the urge to binge like crazy less.

Sticking to a meal plan has helped me so much, I really hope others do this. It's tough at first, but it does get easier. I don't even "cheat" at parties. If I want my choice of snack to be cake, I could. But I don't, because I know the next day I will want sugar.

My weight hasn't changed much for months, which is frustrating, but my body is getting more muscular and I'm happy about that. I feel so much stronger, both emotionally and physically.

    I hope this helps someone.

  • That's always wonderful to hear.
    Good luck to you.

  • I find that my binging is better controlled when I have a sense of what I am going to eat next instead of standing in front of the fridge for 10 minutes wondering what I can eat.

I'm glad to hear that it's helping you.
