I got permission from my supervisor that I can use the computer at work! Whoohoo! (Lord knows I don't want to get fired after being here for only a month!
)So it's very early in thje moring and you chickies should all be tucked in your beds. I am listening to internet radio and sitting at my very boring desk. I have no one else here, just me and that's it. Does get boring for sure but this really is a lovely break after chasing around an active 3 year old all week!

BRAG ALERT! Speaking of Miree, I tried the "school at home" thing on Thursday morning adn she shocked me! I mean, I know my child but I seriously underestimated her ability. I gave her a sheet to practice printing her letter "a" and she did the whole sheet! What's more is she still knows how to do it and is eager for more!
Very proud Mommy moment. Even better, today I was approached by the manager of the daycare she goes to (which is run more like a school than anything else) and they want to bump her up to the senior room! Those kids already attend school, and are a good 6 months older than her but the teachers all assure me she is soooo ready to go. I am just thrilled
Now I am worrying about if I teach her too much, by the time she goes to Jr. K in the fall (registatration for which is the first week of February) she will be bored since you get such a diverse mix of kids--some have been at home the whole time and don't know the rules all the way to those who have totally done the daycare system. Hmmm--wonder if they will let her go to Kindergarten instead if she does so well
Well, got to run and do a patrol now--have to do them every 2 hours--in an empty plant! OY!

I blame it on the daycare. She's hanging out with 12 year old's after school now. Hmmmm. . .
