Points Plus and Week #1 Loss

  • I was just curious as to what kind of numbers people put up on week 1 of PP (just starting on PP not just migrating it to the program from another WW program). I have my 2nd weigh in tomorrow and I am so psyched for it. I think I will put up a good #. So guys and gals......how much did you lose your first week (and yes, I know a lot of it is water.....but that first weeks loss always motivates me so).
  • My first week I lost 4.2 lbs (had to go WAY back in my weight tracker to find that lol). But I'd caution you not to compare yourself to others. Your experience will be your own and you may lose more or less than any of the responses you get here.
  • I lost 5 lbs the first week of PP, and 4 lbs the first week of Momentum last summer.

  • I lost 8 lbs my first week (last week)! I WI again Tuesday!
  • I was 3.6 the 1st week...but it looks like I didn't do my first weigh in until day 3

  • 1.6kg which is about 3.5lbs. The first week I joined WW I just took the info home, read it and ate normally (actually, pretty badly) just to see what I was consuming. I skipped the weigh-in that week and the second week went on plan. Thats when I lost the 1.6kg. I have a feeling I may have gained a little in that first week so thats why my first weigh-in wasnt huge.
  • I only lost 1 lb my first week on PP. It was somewhat disappointing, as in the past I'd always done really well in the first week, but by now, six months later, it totally doesn't matter
  • I lost 3.6 lbs, which was great, but I haven't come close to since. My average weight loss over 5 weeks has been 1.4 lbs.
  • I lost about 7 pounds my first week.
  • I lost 7 pounds my first week also. Then, until the last month or 2, I averaged 2.5lbs/week. I'm now doing 1lb/week but I've been not tracking, binging etc. I'm back on track this week and hopefully back to losing a couple pounds/week. Good luck with your WI!
  • I lost 1.6 my first week. I was hoping for more, but- in the grand scheme of things, it doesn't matter how fast it comes off. It just needs to come off.
  • I find WW is a great program. Day 4 for me. I only did my original weigh in on the first day. My next weigh in is Wednesday (which will be 6 days). I, too, am nervous, even though I have been doing great with the healthy eating and doing one walk a day (except for 1 day due to my knee acting up on me)... so good luck to all of you on your weigh ins
