New fat chick

  • after many unsuccessful diets and falied lap band surgery I bit the bullet and started the Ideal Protein Diet one week ago. I am happy to say first weigh in had me down 8 pounds

    I didn't find the week that difficult especially whne I found what ideal foods I liked.

    I am looking for any success tips that you may have

  • hey there, i'm also a new fat chick to the forums :P where in jersey are you from jerseygirl?! i'm also from jersey!

    i have tried the 17 day diet, which is kind of like an all protein diet at first, but i was so hungry all the time and got very sick of eating just certain foods all the time and gave up it lost about 4 lbs on it in about a week, which is pretty good, however i gained all 4 lbs back very quickly after stopping. i really want to find a diet that is easy to follow and works pretty well, but i just can't seem to find one that works for me.

    I started IP 2 weeks ago and I am down 11.6 lbs. Yay me! I bought and ate some vegetarian cheese tonight. Did I spoil my mojo???
