Hello! I'm here to gain friends while losing (some of) myself

  • Greetings from the USA's Vancouver!

    This is my last attempt at losing weight as I plan to succeed this time.

    I am currently doing the Ideal Protein plan, and so far am feeling good about it. I started this plan on April 1, 2011, a fitting date! So far I have lost 28 pounds and I am feeling good about that too!

    I will admit that the first week of this new eating plan (I am not using that four letter "d" word) was difficult. And it has not been a perfect month. However, I am doing it and I can do it.

    My ultimate goal is to wear the proverbial little black dress to my 40th birthday party (I am 36 3/4 now). I want to be comfortable in my skin by that time, or sooner. The dress doesn't really have to be black, or all that little; but something that makes me feel sexy, which will be easier as I will already be comfy in my skin. =)

    Ok, I think that's enough to get started. As I said, I am looking forward to getting to know some folks and making new friends.

  • 30 pounds in a month is amazing! Congratulations on your progress, and good luck on your weight loss from here on out! Do you already have your dress picked out for your bday? You should start browsing, keep yourself motivated to really WOW yourself!!
  • Congrats on your success. I wish you lots of luck on your goals! I think it's great that you have a specific event for which you're trying to achieve a certain goal because it will keep you motivated!
  • Congratulations on the 28 pounds in a month. That is awesome. I like you, would likt to gain some friends, while losing some of myself. I joined weight watchers a month ago and have lost 14.2 pounds so far. Keep up the good work!
