Do you FEEL the weight loss?

  • Hello everyone.. Just curious if anyone feels their weight loss everyweek? For example, before weigh in do you ever think I feel like "I lost weight this week!"
  • I can usually feel it in my clothes. First my clothes got baggy, then they were just plain to big. I am down a size and this size is starting to get baggy! So yes, I do feel my weight loss.
  • On the rare occasion, I can tell if my thighs feel thinner (less or no rubbing) or something like that. But, I can usually tell by how my body behaves. Meaning, if I (TMI...) pee a lot at night, that pretty much guarantees a loss in the morning.

I'm daily weigher. I did WW Online.
  • Yes, I feel it...feel lighter, like somekind of swoosh happened and I'm no longer feeling like a blown-up baloon...clothes feel more comfy
  • I feel completely different but my weight loss is slow to non existant. At least my body is changing shape and our eating habits are way healthier now.
  • I didn't start to "feel" my weight loss until I had lost about 15 pounds, but people started saying things like "Holy crap, have you lost weight?!" at around 10 pounds.

But recently it's hit me all at once that, hey, I've lost weight. And not only that, I must be losing inches too (although I really don't know how many, as I never measured myself.) Everything is too big. The knee socks I got for Christmas (that I could only pull up mid-calf) now go all the way to my knees, without cutting off my circulation. My bras all got too big.

I keep thinking that it's conceited to say, or even think, but you know, I'm pretty proud of myself. And even if it takes me a very long time to get to my goal weight, I've changed the way I eat and the way I live, and that's the most important part to me.
  • I don't really besides my baggy capris... I'm in between sizes.
  • I am not sure if it is weight loss I feel or just an overall good feeling for eating so good for my body. I like both
  • I do--and I start to get compliments. I really know I'm losing weight when I can see it in my face. It makes me SO excited!!!
  • I stayed the same at 232 at Saturdays weigh in, but i feel thinner this morning for some reason. Got on the scale and it says 229. I just about pee'd my pants. I know it isnt probably the right numbers and wont show anything close to that next week lol. Stupid water weight!!!
  • I feel better overall for eating right and exercising. But this time around, I'm not feeling any different. I think it's because the loss is soooooooo daaaaaannnnnnggggggg slooooooooow! But there have been times, like after a mad weekend with a friend, when we had to test how chocolate tastes with every kind of wine we could find. And eat cheese and salami with crackers. I could hardly get myself upstairs after that weekend! So I can definitely tell when I've gained.

So glad I don't do those sorts of weekends any longer! She's still my best friend, but we do things like drag ourselves all over San Francisco on foot for the weekend. Still drag myself upstairs at the end of those weekends, but it's because I'm exhausted, not heavier.
