I can lose, gain, but cant maintain

  • I know how to lose weight, I know how to gain weight, but i have NO CLUE how to maintain my weight.

    I get to a point where I am happy with my weight, and I slack off a bit, its like self sabotage.

    Anyone have any ideas???
  • Keep working out and stop sabotaging yourself? Don't change your habits back to your old ones just because you are at the weight you want to be at; because then you are just going to gain everything back if not more.

    Remind yourself why you did this in the first place.
  • Eat the same foods you ate to lose the weight, but a little bit more of the same foods. Bigger portions. Keep working out. Always stay away from sugar and processed foods.

  • I would check you calories in vs out, and then you will have an idea of what you need to eat to maintain, and after a while you may not even need to track calories you'll just know.

    Now with that said that if just my thought, I still have a lot to lose and am not trying to maintain. I may be way off the mark!
