    I just joined but have been reading your threads for a couple of days.. I would like to know what diets have worked for you if you don't mind.. i'm currently on the IP (5th day)

  • I never put my faith in any "diets" per se. I've been slowly overhauling my bad habits and replacing them with healthier options that will become my new habits. I'm sticking to 1300 calories-per-day like glue, which doesn't leave room for much junk. A good lifestyle diet I've heard about is the 400 calorie fix, where you have 4 400-calorie meals for a total of 1600 calories per day.

    If IP works for you, though, that's great! It worked for my sister, who lost 60 pounds on it.
  • I second Ana I've overhauled my eating also. I eat couscous and quinoa more than I ever did before. I try different vegetables and watch my portions. I also love love love love protein shakes because they are easy, portable and really quick. I got my lifestyle change plan from the Body for Life book though. And I love it. I eat every 2 hours and this is definitely a plan that I can live with for the rest of my life.
