I usually do 30m-1hr in the morning and then again in the afternoon. Sometimes I change it up and rather than using my gym, I go for a bike ride or walking on the aqueduct.
I do this most days of the week, but occasionally I give myself a day off and veg-out on the Xbox or something similar. I find this gives me motivation to get the most out of my work outs all of the other days, because I feel like I have to compensate for an entire day of mixed progress. The same goes for food, every week or two I have a pizza night. Usually I gorge myself and devour 5-6 slices

. Probably not the best idea, but it hasn't hurt my progress yet!
