anyone use those websites that tell you how far you've walked based on salletlite images? i estimate (from sat. pictures) that my yard is about 100 meters long x 50 meters wide. so i think if i walk around it 6 times. that's 1 mile maybe a bit more. i'm off to try it out

I love using dailymile.com to map my routes. I use it almost everyday and am still surprised by how few/many miles each walk is. It definitely makes tracking calories easier, though it doesn't take into account hills.

I LOVE journeytracker- it's a free app on the droid- I just hit "start tracking" and it uses GPS to track where I go then when I'm done I hit "stop tracking" and it shows me a picture of my route and then how far I went and how long I walked- it's a lot of fun!

i went to daily mile, but i'm having trouble getting close enough in the map. i was trying to measure walking in my yard which sounds weird, but it's .8 acres.
