Hello all! I have been reading forum posts on this website for several months now, and I finally decided to join. It might take me a while to see how this all works I have been dieting and working out on my own, but I really need a support system, outside of my friends and family. I have read a lot of inspiring stories on this website, and I am excited to be a part of this effort!

Hi, I am new too! I have been dieting since Jan 1 and have started to walk/ jog a week ago. Not able to go to a gym and its been a little cold out or maybe that was my excuse cause the past week has been in the 40's and I found it quite comfortable. Plus I seen other people running and told myself to stop making excuses. This website is so great and has so much information and as I was told a great support team.

Welcome Purple, Glad to have you join us. My advice is to look for a Support group, Chat, or Challange to join; small groups make it easier to get connected. Most sub-forums have groups covering almost every need, find one that inspires or motivates you and just post to join.

Thanks Penguin! I am looking forward to joining one of the support groups/challenges, probably the Binge eating ones, becaues that is my main problem.
