So I had a mini-marathon over the past couple of days and watched all of MTV's "I Used to be Fat." In it each participant receives a huge calendar counting down the number of days to get to their goal weight. Every day they rip it off and (hopefully) have a sense of accomplishment that they worked out and ate right another day and are one day closer to that coveted number on the scale. Well, I don't have a personal trainer and don't have time to work out 4 hours a day most days but I do have wall space! I love the idea of making something that is a constant reminder of what I am striving to do. I can always forget to log on here or dailyplate for a few days but with something on my wall it's always looking at me until I get down to my goal weight. So today during my lazy TV watching and p90x prepping I made a little collage. On it are post it's with a weight from 183 (my starting) to 135 (my goal). Some have little reminders like 10 lb down, 25% BMI - Normal, 5 lb to go. Etc. Then I added a few pics to keep me motivated.
Anyone else do anything like this or am I the only dork around here?
