Your favorite books

  • Can you suggest some good books, I'm bored and need to revamp my menu again.
  • Laurel's Kitchen is a well-worn standard in my kitchen. And Veganomicon, which I usually de-veganize with butter.
  • I really loved Crescent Dragonwagon's Passionate Vegetarian, it had a ton of recipes and was pretty interesting and fun to read.
  • The 101 Cookbooks blog has excellent interesting recipes posted frequently.

Her Super Natural cookbooks looks pretty good as well.
  • Do you want cookbooks/whole foodsie books or just novels/enrichment fun?
  • I'm new to the forum so I don't know how much this has already been discussed but I love Marc Bittman's "Food Matters" and just got the "Food Matters" cookbook (some recipes are repeated in both books though). I also love the Moosewood Cookbooks (from my teenage vegetarian days). If you can find it, some of my favourite recipes of all times come from Mollie Katzen's "Still Life with Menu" cookbook (circa 1994).
