Meat Aversion?

  • Lately I have been grossed out with meat (mostly poultry) and eggs! The only thing that doesn't really bother me is rotisserie chicken. Has this happened to anyone else?
On friday, when I get paid, I was going to go buy some shakes to get me through and not have soooo much meat and eggs.

Whats your favorite shake flavor? Vanilla or Chocolate?
  • Yes, this happened to me early on, but I got over it. Be wary of the rotisserie chicken. Here is a quote from a dieting website:

Rotisserie chicken is perhaps the most dangerous of all. The perception is that you are getting roasted chicken, which is generally lean. But rotisserie chicken is cooked using oil, and the fat from the chicken itself continuously bastes the lean chicken meat as it turns on the spit. Rotisserie chicken nutrition facts vary depending on the recipe, but rest assured the calorie count is more than roast chicken.

I like the vanilla shakes b/c you can add other flavors to them with HNS. My favorite was vanilla with a wildberry or lemon HNS. A lot of people like chocolate, though.

This happened to me early on, and still happens occasionally if I eat something too many times. I have to rotate my meals, eating fish for a while, then chicken, then buffalo, etc.

The shakes help change things up a little. I didn't care for vanilla (weird aftertaste), but I never thought to try it mixed with a flavored HNS. What a great idea! I love the chocolate shake, though. The colder, the better.
  • Thanks girls!!!
