wave one mishap

  • So, if you fall off the wagon a little bit on wave one what should you do? Start over from the beginning or just continue on?
  • I didn't see this until now, so I'm sure you've already made your decision.

While I've not followed the Sonoma waves myself, I'd say you should do whatever you think you can stick with. If you're feeling particularly motivated, start from the beginning again. If Wave 1 is a killer for you, get through it as much as you can, and move on to Wave 2. If Wave 2 is problematic, then maybe go back to Wave 1.

I think the deal with Wave 1 is breaking a sugar habit. Is that correct? In that case, it might be worth it to tough it out for the entire 10 days. ?

What did you choose to do?
  • It depends what you call falling off the wagon. My very first wave 1 I lost 10 pounds despite drinking out of control the friday (I started on a monday) eating a chocolate cake on the saturday (Just a piece).
All the other days I followed it to the letter and I was fine.

after the chocolate cake I realize that I really needed to do it for myself so I stuck to wave 1 until the wednesday (10 days after my start day) I ended up doing only 5 days of no cheating of wave 1 and Iwas perfectly fine and did not crave sugar afterwards. I moved to wave 2 and 50 pounds later here i am trying to challenge myself to loose even more!
