in the week 1 meeting go in a bit early because you'll need to fill out a sheet of paper about yourself and then pay your registration fee (if applicable) and first weeks fee and yes you can just pay week by week if you like, or some offer deals like the more weeks you buy ahead of time the bigger the discount, or monthly passes etc, you can ask them about it there because as I've found with my own meetings, they are all different in that aspect.
As far as material, you will get the Getting Started booklet which is FULL of good info and one other book as well, then you'll weigh in and stay for the meeting, after the meeting the leader will go over one on one with you the program and all that it entails.. when you wi they will give you your daily pts target so you definitely will leave that meeting with all the info you need, oh and don't forget to buy a calculator while there and if you want the food guide and dining out book they will be sold there too along with other ww products.
