    I don't seem to be able to do this. Is this function not available for new members?

    I think it is restricted for newer members to prevent spammers from signing up and harrassing people.

    It's nothing personal

    I also can't PM you either, so it goes both ways.

    You will be able to PM when you have the required twenty posts and twenty days.
