Just Getting Started

  • HI!!

    I'm Gabrielle, 20 years old. I've read many posts on this site and have been inspired by a lot of inspirational women. I hit my true breaking point not too long ago, when I stuck my arm in a friends leather jacket, I wasn't even trying it on, and she says, "That is NOT going to fit you honey." Hit me hard. I've cut what I've been in eating in half, but it is terribly hard to not eat after a certain time. Food is so tempting. I'm trying so hard not to eat a lot of sweets. I'm new to this whole thing and if anyone has advice, I will be glad to read it.

    Also, I'm not 'dieting,' I'm just making a healthy life change. Cutting back on certain things, smaller portion sizes, getting at least 45 minutes of physical activity 5 days a week.

    I think having the mentality from the get go that this isn't a "diet" it is a lifestyle change is fantastic! Small changes bring big results! I wish you the best of luck in your journey!!
