  • I got here...actually 54-3/4 lbs with a 5 lb weight loss in week 18...
    :c arrot: one for each 5 lbs lost!

    Will get to my 60 lbs in my original goal....and then probably try for another 15 and see what I think then...I'm definitely still a work in progress.

    Thanks to all who posted their journey's here...I couldn't have done it without you.

    I'm on the Ideal Protein Diet....a friend went on the diet, I saw his success, mulled it over for a month and jumped on the diet.....after the first 2 weeks of being pretty tired,it's been soooo easy...I lost 8-3/4 lbs the first week.

    There are many even more surprising stories on this site...just search the Ideal Protein area....a wonderful group of people and very supportive.

    YES..the plan and the people here combined make an awesome duo...there isn't any jealousy, just support for everyones efforts....sometimes you can't even get that from your loved ones.... or friends....LOL

  • It's been very successful for me. You have to be willing to be restrictive at first, and then adjust your idea of what is good... but I've been able to eat enough to feel full, never hungry, and lost a surprising amount of weight quickly!

    But basically, I've stuck to Phase 1, no restricted foods, no "one-a-day, 2-a-week" foods, the entire time. And it works! In one week less than 5 months, I've lost 87 pounds!
