How do you use your points?

  • I'm just curious how each and everyone of you use your points daily?

    Do you divide them up throughout the day or just eat when hungry?

    AP and FLEX - do you keep them all for one day or do you divide them up as well? I'm just wondering!

  • I have 22pts a day
    Breakfast 4
    Lunch varies usually 6
    After noon snack 2
    Dinner I try to leave myself 10
  • I have 29 points.

    I have 2-4 for breakfast
    7-10 for lunch
    1-2 for afternoon snack
    up to 10 for dinner
    1-2 for evening snack

    AP - I don't give them to myself. I use those for "margin of error" points if I eat out and can't quite figure out how many points I have had.

    Flex - I use them primarily on weekends (I weigh in on Thursdays or Fridays)
  • I get 37, but usually try to eat 35.

    Breakfast = 3-5
    Lunch = 12-16
    Snack1 = 1-2
    Dinner = 12-16
    Snack2 = 1-2

    I use flex right after I weigh in each week and don't count/use AP.
  • I get 30 right now and tend to break them up as follows

    breakfast 4
    snacks 3
    lunch 6
    snacks 3
    dinner 10
    snacks 4

    So far I haven't had to use my flex points or activity points. I really save a lot for dinner and evening snacks as that is my worse hunger time. Breakfast has been coming along slowly.

  • I divide them all evenly between breakfast, lunch and supper. If I do that, I don't get hungry between meals. If I skimp on breakfast, EVERYTHING is a red light food for the rest of the day. So right now I have 29 pts - 10 for breakfast and lunch and 9 for dinner. I can do dinner on 7 or less easy, but I cook at home (I don't think I could do that if I ate out).

    Breakfast 2-3
    Lunch 6-8
    Dinner 12-15

    I rarely snack but if I do I use 1-3 points for it. I also use most of my Flex Points on the weekends, the weekdays are easy for me since I eat breakfast and lunch at work.

    My leader once said to divide the points in half and use half for Breakfast and Lunch and the other half for dinner and any snacking. I save all of my flex and AP for the weekend eating.
