Hi!
I would just like to introduce myself and see if any other newbies or members of groups can recommend a motivating group to be a part of. I have been counting ww points for about a month and lost 11 lbs, which is just fantastic. I have never dieted in my entire life because I have always philosophically been against the culture that forced women to remain and want to always be thin.
Yes, I am a feminist.
However, I have gained 60 lbs in the last two years and I HAVE to get it off. My health is suffering...sleep apnea, insulin resistance, pcos....yup, yup, yup.
I have emotional eating difficulties and I have to face all of this and make lifestyle changes.
I am not here to diet, I am here to hopefully make some friends who can support each other through frustrations and mistakes. (We all make them)

. I am from NC also. I just joined this past weekend I love it I suggest joining the 100lb club its people who need to lose 100 plus pounds and people who have lost 100 pounds I enjoy it very much. Good luck on your jounery.
