Body measurements.

  • I'm having a bad body day. You can tell when I start a bunch of threads... ha.

I just took my measurements and it seems the more weight I lose the more grossly disproportionate my body becomes . Will it even out as I lose more weight? Will it get worse??? Does anyone have measurements remotely off the chart as this?

    I'm 5'9"

My bust is 32" under my chest 37" at the fullest part. Waist is 30.5" and hips are... wait for it.... 43"!!??!! (Thank HEAVEN I have the boobs to balance out that junk in my trunk) I'm a huge pear! This is insane.

  • I'm pretty sure that for chest measurements you do measure over top of them.

I definitely feel for you on that disproportionate thing. My waist is 32" and my thighs are 29" and the difference seems to be getting worse as I lose.

Hopefully someone else knows about whether things will eventually even out, but just wanted you to know you are not alone!
  • Unless you are doing serious body recomposition work, i have a feeling you (like most of us) will have the same "shape" throughout your weightloss-- its just the measurements that get smaller. Generally speaking, apples dont suddenly become pears and vice versa. We all have dreams dancing in our heads that when we lose weight we want to look like (fill in the blank with idealized body) In reality, you will still be you, just a smaller version!
As mentioned before however, it IS possible to do body recomposition, but only to a certain point, and its a very focused, dilligent intense training to get there (im talking about using strength training to reshape parts of your body).
or surgery. theres always that option
